A Career in Horses?

We Can Train you For all BHS Stage Exams

Training for BHS Qualifications

We are now a BHS Approved "Where to Train" centre which means we can train students to BHSAI level.

Scottish Equestrian has been active in career training for 18 years, and we have had consistantly high pass rates. However, this recognition by the BHS means that we can take our training a step higher.

It also means that we can offer students from Britain, and overseas, full residential traing courses, living on site, in modern accommodation. Fees include all meals, accommodation, tuition, etcetera.

Contact us now to discuss your training in a particularly pleasant part of rural Scotland, convenient for Glasgow, Edinburgh, and the M74/M6 route south.

Please get in touch for full details.

TRAINING AT SCOTISH EQUESTRIAN HOTEL

We offer a high standard of training and a sympathetic and encouraging environment in which our students can fulfill the highest possible levels of customer care, riding skills and horse management. We have excellent on-site accommodation and facilities.

Our expertise spans across the board whether it's a child refreshing for pony club exams, a guide requiring the very excellent BET certificate, or a career path for the young or not so young wishing to progress to a highly qualified level within the BHS framework.

Not everyone has the time to devote entirely to training, so we have devised a system of delivery of training which will allow you to access as much or as little training as you require, for any exam or purpose you require.

We will provide an hour, a day, a week, a month or a year's training on any subject whatsoever. You decide which part of the syllabus, or which part of your riding you want to cover in that period. We will deliver exactly that. The costs are fixed to allow you flexibility and to keep within your budget.

1 hour £20.00. 1 day £75.00. 1 day plus accommodation £100. 1 week £495.00.
1 month £1700.00(weeks and longer include full board).

We can assure you that you will get the very best out of every hour.

You can also come and train with us for one year at a cost of £25.00 per week.

If required we will also deliver English language tuition.

In addition to standard training, we can offer:
* Voice coaching, invaluable for interesting teaching.
* Horse behaviour awareness, to bring out the best in your horse
* Horse breaking using our round pen.
* Re-training and Loading.

Discount vouchers are available towards all training and can also be paid for by credit or debit cards.

WOULD YOU LIKE A GURU FOR A DAY?

We all need a little help some times. We all know how it is. You've hit a low spot, or you're not quite sure if what you're doing is correct. Maybe you've just bought a new horse and you could do with a little bit of help and advice, even on how to brush it and tack it up.

I can give you all of that.

You can bring your horse to me or I can pick it up. Alternatively, I can come to you and iron out the concerns you have. I can teach you how to ride and handle your horse so that it is a great experience for both of you.

For nervous adults, or if you've had a bad experience on a horse, I can give you the confidence to enjoy your horse in a more relaxed fashion.

For children who need a little TLC on their pony, I can help them get going again.

The cost is £90.00 per day. I can be contacted every day at the centre.
