The Holiday Week Programme
Children
are assessed then allocated a pony for the holiday. If this proves a
poor partnership, don't worry, we will change the pony. The week is
then made up of four hours daily riding, which is usually a mix of
tuition according to ability, and hacking out. There is normally a
mounted treasure hunt, a picnic ride, football on horseback, and a last
day games and jumping competition for all to take part.
During
the day, you will also help bring your pony in from the field, feed,
groom, tack-up and tidy up the stable at the end of the day before
taking him back to the field. Our staff ensure that everyone works to
their ability.
Evening Entertainment
Scottish
Equestrian Hotel offers a
range of evening fun. Visits to the local swimming pool, unihoc,
volleyball, splash pool, trampoline, video nights, quiz sessions, camp
fire sing a long, plus Bar-b-cue and talent competitions. Our programme
is full and kids can be as busy as they wish.
You do
what you please - just be happy. All staff are hand picked, all
instructors are BHS qualified, hold Child Protection certificates and
hold First Aid qualifications.
