Livery at
Scottish Equi is a great experience for both you and your
horse. We have great facilities but we also have BHS qualified staff
on site 24/7 to ensure that every care is taken with your precious
companion. All liveries are overseen by Maureen personally and nothing
is too much trouble.
We have 65
permanent boxes and 55 temporary boxes, all double wood lined
to be warm and cosy in the winter and cool in the summer. All boxes
have automatic waterers and open directly onto wide tarmac yards to
ensure adequate ventilation and stimulation. Each box is lined to
the top to ensure the horse feels comfortable and safe within its own
space. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant and every horse is treated
as an individual.
The facilities
are fantastic and include free use of the massive indoor
arena with music, free use of the huge outdoor arena, full set of show
jumps and X country fences, free use of the round pen, individual tack
rooms, coffee shop and tack shop. We also have great off road
hacking. We can transport to shows and events with our own transport
and have a regular programme of events and outings. Turnout is in a
safe individual environment if required.
Bio security is
extremely important to us and we have had a robust isolation policy for
22 years. On arrival all horses are placed in our isolation yard for
two weeks. Each horse is given a vetinary check and blood tested for
strangles. This policy allows present and potential livery
clients to be confident that there can be no spread of infection.
