	August 17th - 2008 Festival of Riding Scottish Equi will host theScottish event in the 2008 Festival of Riding - a nationwide series of open days aimed at giving new riders a glimpse of what they can do in the world of horses, and current riders a great day out! Plans are being hatched to create arena events, celebrity appearances, and lots more. The Festival of Riding 2008 is sponsored by Pet Plan, and will be one of most prestigious equestrian shows of the year. So pencil in Aug 17th - Festival of Riding right here at Lanark!

Success for Riding & Road Safety Exam

Twelve candidates passed our April Riding & Road Safety Exam. All had enjoyed a full days training with highly experienced trainer Isobel Forrest before the full day exam. The exam, a mix of theory and practical road craft, was run by Morag Cartney of the BHS with local authority road safety helpers. She is shown above (right) with Maureen Taylor (left) who supervised her staff to ensure a smooth running day

Our New Therapy Suite

We shall shortly open our new dedicated horse therapy suite. Warm wash bay, solarium, massage area, Equissage area - all aimed at helping horses to achieve top condition, or to assist in recovery from muscular aches pains and strains. Full details and pictures later.
