Livery

The perfect environment for your precious companion

Livery at the Scottish Equestrian Centre will be a great experience for both you and your horse, and we ensure every care is taken with your precious companion.

All liveries are overseen by Maureen personally and nothing is too much trouble, she is here 24/7 for care, advice, teaching, re-schooling and breaking.

We have 65 boxes, all double-wood lined to be warm and cosy in the winter and cool in the summer. All boxes have automatic waterers and open directly onto wide tarmac yards to ensure adequate ventilation and stimulation. Each box is lined to the roof to ensure the horse feels comfortable and safe within its own space. The Farrier Alan Weir visits every week and we have thoroughly excellent vet care from ARMAC.

World-class facilities

Liveries have free use of the indoor and outdoor arenas, both fitted to play music, full set of show jumps, excellent XC course in one safe visible field, free use of the roundpen, individual tack rooms and clean toilets.

We have varying sizes of trucks to provide transport to shows, events and outings. Turnout is in individual paddocks if required. Our environment is delightful with great off road hacking.

LIVERY

Bio Security

Bio security is extremely important to us and we have had a robust isolation policy for the past 30 years. New arrivals will be quarantined and must provide a current Starngles blood test certificate before arrival. This policy allows present and potential clients to be confident that there is minimal risk of infection when we provide livery.

We are delighted to give help and advice and we have BHS qualified instructors to teach in all disciplines. We are a BHS approved livery yard.

Guide price for a 16.2hh for livery is £435.00 per month which includes bedding, hay, feed and care.
